If you can go back to another place or country, where would you go or if it's not a country, what place would you want to go to that you've never been before?

I would like to visit Greece. I've never been there, but I hear it's a beautiful country and I'd love to see some of the sites from ancient Greece.

Hmm, I have a few places I wouldn't mind visitting again. I took a trip down the Oregon trail, and back home via the Louis and Clark. On that trip I actually came across 2 places I wouldn't mind dropping by again: Montanna for one. Granted I was only in a certain part, but I don't remember being anywhere else that it was that quiet. The only sound was the wind, and any people you happened to have with you. It was incredibly peaceful. The other place on that trip was a town called New Town in North Dakota. First of all, I'm a city person; my general rule is that I wouldn't want to live anywhere but a city. But something about that place made several of us on that trip say to each other "I really wouldn't mind living here." I don't know what it was about the trip and people there, but I think I'll go back someday.
AS for visitting places I haven't been before: I've always wanted to visit the UK. Really though I'd like to travel quite a bit someday if I get the chance.

I would like to visit Iceland. I have never been there before but I have heard about it and it sounds very historical. I would also like to go back to Ireland again. I like the Irish accent. Another place I like is North Yorkshire in England. I am going to York in Yorkshire quite soon to see a show on the 1st of December.

It might sound a bit old fassion to you but i like traditional villages a lot. Places where you can still hear the rooster in the morning to wake you up, places where people still make their own bredd, cheese and you can enjoy homemate food not the already made frozen food we can get from supermarkets in the cities. Houses where they still have fireplaces and things like that. This is the kind of place i wouldn't mind to live.

My fiancee's house has to be at the to of the list lol, but that's a no brainer huh. I'd also like to visit places of historical importance, like mr President. Places like Greece, Israel, China, India, stuff like that.

The Atacama desert in Chile it's fierce cold
the terrain is brutal so I'd probably end up going head
first down a crevice. In time I'd be air dried the first Irish
paraplegic mummy in Chile.smile

The business for me is the Connor Pass in Kerry. It's wild so,and there's barely room for traffic.

Anyone who knows me or who just glances at my profile will know my answer. I'd definitely want to go to Greece. For one thing, it's where my religion started. So I'd like to see our sacred sites and be closer to The Gods. I'd like to climb Mount Olumpos but I think, religiously, there's a certain point where I have to stop so that I don't go to the top. Not sure. Anyway, Greece is also where rebetika, my favourite kind of music, comes from, and although all the places they talk about have changed since the 1930's and 1940's, I'd still like to see them. Plus, I'd like to go to a taverna, so I could play the music I love so much in public and in Athens, where it all started. But I'm also a Greek patriot, one who's never been to Greece, and this bothers me. I think it's only natural to want to see the country you love, the one for which you'd be willing to fight, to give aid to and to die for if necessary (though I highly doubt the latter will ever happen.) Anyway, if all goes well, I want to move there at some point in my life. I know it'll be doubly hard for me as a blind woman (both groups aren't exactly favoured though I'll have more problems with the blindness), but I'm already learning the language and am heavily into the culture, so I'm sure by the time I'm ready to move, I'll be ok. Btw, my patriotism etc does not come from my family, as my Greek blood goes very far back and I'm the only one who really cares about it.

However, aside from Greece, I'd also like to visit Cyprus at least once. While I wouldn't move there, I do owe them a huge debt of thanks. If it weren't for kypros.org, I wouldn't know Greek at all, or would know only a tiny bit. Besides, Cyprus is the birthplace of Aphrodite, so it fits in with my religious stuff.
